Earth station antennas (ESA’s) being the building blocks of any teleport, are at the centre of the very definition of a teleport. A telecommunications port – or, more commonly, teleport -is a satellite ground station that functions as a hub connecting a satellite or geocentric orbital network with a terrestrial telecommunications network, such as the Internet. Antenna farm or satellite dish farm or just dish farm are terms used to describe an area dedicated to television or radio telecommunications transmitting or receiving antenna equipment, such as C-, Ku- or Ka-band satellite dish antennas, UHF/VHF/AM/FM transmitter towers or mobile cell towers. But let us focus on satellite dish antennas. Jurij Blazin_Technical Director_STN
