market, a teleport needs to remain flexible, ensuring high standard
technical solutions but most importantly always improving client
services and adapting to their requirements and predicting trends,”
opined STN’s Mitja Lovsin.
Some of the big questions facing teleport operators currently are really how much some of the more recent developments such as HTS and CubeSats are impacting the market; Will this, in fact, change the way in which teleports are operating? Will it significantly reduce the volume of work and potential projects which have historically been performed by teleports? These are of course a million-dollar questions and serious consideration must be taken going forward by each teleport to decide the course of action and strategy to ensure the continued future success.”
