These will form together with the already existing 40 foreign channels (most of them with Slovenian subtitles) the best alternative for the regions where cable is not accessible. Additionally with this step undertaken the Slovenian minority's abroad will have the opportunity to stay in touch with their culture, events, news, sport, etc.  The first five channels were launched on 7th July.
